How much does it cost?

It does not cost anything to host a tryout, although you may chose to reimburse candidates for their time. If you choose to hire someone after a tryout, there is a success fee of 7% of the candidates annual salary.

Who can use Tryout?

Anyone! Whether you’re a student, graduate, career changer, or just curious about a different industry, TryOut is designed to help you explore and find what truly suits you.

Will Tryout guarantee me a job?

No, but it gives you real-world experience and a chance to connect with employers who are looking for motivated people — which can often lead to a job offer.

Do I need experience to join/ Tryout a job?

No not necessarily. Many tryouts are designed for people who wany to try a new industry or beginners who want to learn about the role before committing.

Will I be paid for my trial?

It is up to your employer if they wish to pay you during your trial, often they will pay or compensate you for your time (gas, lunch etc). Although the employer must provide adequate PPE, so you won’t have to spend anything.

What if I don’t like the job I tried out?

That’s exactly what TryOut is for! You can try something else with no pressure or long-term commitment.

How long is a Tryout Trial period?

TryOuts are short and flexible. Placements vary — some are just a day or two, while others may last a few weeks. The length can be adjusted depending on the role and your needs. It depends on the role and employer.
